BOBThen the knights go to work! Rogerin D'Armignac, cool as you like, finds Nezot Tirasse downfield, and the Knight Catcher walks it in. One–nil, Grenadiers! That's the passing game they've been drilling, Jim, finally paying out!
JIMBut the Goblins answer the only way they know: violence. Vulzala the Trained Troll clubs squire Elma Kuchler, and moments later Ortrun Heinz goes down and... Bob, the medics are waving it off. Ortrun Heinz is dead.
BOBA moment's silence for a Squire who held the line. ...Moment's over, because the 'Ooligan Grark is putting the boot into Amynta while she's down! Grail Knight stretchered off!
JIMThen the signature goblin play: Vulzala picks up Turkrer the Doom Diver and HURLS him downfield. He lands it, he scores it. One–one, and the Goblin bench goes berserk.
BOBAnd the ref finally catches Grark on his second go. Sent off! Three bribes in the kit bag and the little thug still gets the early bath. Beautiful.
JIMSecond half, and Zirr the Bomma starts lobbing the fireworks. Siegbert Schott blown off his feet, then Alison De Belloy caught in a blast she's going to feel for the rest of her career.
BOBGrenadiers are running out of Grenadiers, Jim! But look who's still standing: Rogerin, one more time, to Nezot Tirasse... and he's IN! Two–one! Nezot with the brace!
JIMAnd the knights hold on. The MVP goes to Alejandra, the Grail Knight who anchored that line all afternoon. The skid is over, but the Grenadiers paid for this one in blood.
