I packed this model with Easter eggs for ALS awareness and in memory of my mom, Wendy ❤️

1️⃣ Red armor — the official color of ALS awareness and research
2️⃣ Blue/white pinstripes — for Lou Gehrig, the Yankee great and face of the disease
3️⃣ Motor neuron emblem — representing the cells ALS damages, leading to paralysis
4️⃣ Blue cornflowers — the international symbol for ALS: resilient, though they appear frail
5️⃣ Yellow daffodils — my mom’s favorite flowers. She passed away from ALS in 2017 💐

This hobby has given me a way to honor her and raise awareness, one mini at a time.
