Human Catcher

Sunday afternoon. Two minutes on the clock. The crowd holding its breath.

The catcher arcs into the air, eyes locked on the spiral, one hand stretched high like he’s pulling fate down from the sky. Human teams in Blitz Bowl live and die on speed and positioning, and this sculpt just feels like momentum. Lean, balanced, a little reckless… exactly how a big play should look.

I tried to keep him close to the box art, but somewhere along the way those blues and reds started giving strong “New York sideline” energy. Not mad about it 😅 The Vallejo metallic blues are doing a lot of heavy lifting here, especially on the pads, subtle shine without going full chrome. Focused on crisp edge highlights to sell the movement, then kept the base simple and grassy so nothing distracts from the catch.

Catch secured… now we just have to survive the blitz next activation.
