May 2025 painting recap
🎨 May Mini Painting Recap 🕸️⚔️
Slower month on the painting front, but for good reason—I was exploring some new techniques and leveling up my skills! 🙌
🕷️ Finished minis:
☑️ Spider-Punk, Spiral, and Spider-Man 2099 from Marvel United
☑️ My first space marines! A Salamander and an Ultramarine from Warhammer 40K
🛠️ New skills unlocked (at least somewhat):
☑️ First forays into airbrushing (may be a game changer but jury’s still out!)
☑️ Built a couple models off the sprue for the first time - lots of clipping and gluing
☑️ Experimented with technical paints for lava bases
☑️ Applied my first decal transfers (and didn’t ruin them 😅)
Some other projects are still WIP, but I’m excited to keep pushing my limits and seeing where this goes. Always learning, always painting.
