Longshot
Luck isn’t random… it’s weaponized.
Longshot is one of those deep-cut X-Men characters who never quite gets top billing, but always shows up exactly when things tilt in his favor. Genetically engineered, rebel gladiator, probability-bender… he doesn’t control outcomes so much as nudge them just enough that everything breaks his way (assuming he’s fighting for good). It’s a fun kind of chaos, the quiet confidence that the next move will work, even when it shouldn’t.
This one was all about contrast and motion. I leaned into the dark suit to frame the bright yellow hair and star details, keeping the palette tight so the sculpt’s energy does the heavy lifting. The blades got a cool metallic treatment to pop without overpowering the face, and I had a lot of fun pushing the brick base, warm reds against the cooler tones up top. There’s something satisfying about a character who looks mid-fall but feels completely in control… like the dice already landed in his favor 🎲
