Everything I’ve painted so far in 2026...
The past few months went pretty much to plan as hobby time goes. I wanted to shift away from one-off heroes and spend some time building full squads and actually getting games to the table.
Started with Mass Effect: Priority Hagalaz, which was a fun change of pace painting a cohesive group instead of standalone characters. Then took on a full Blood Bowl Season 3 Tomb Kings roster (first real attempt at army-style painting, still figuring out how to balance speed vs detail across a full team). Wrapped it up with a couple Blitz Bowl squads, which have been perfect for getting more casual games in, quick to learn, quick to play, and just a lot of fun.
There are still a few Marvel United minis sneaking in (couldn’t help it), but this stretch has been more about consistency, process, and getting painted models onto the table.
Curious how you all approach it, do you prefer focusing on single showcase pieces, or building out full teams and armies?
