Iron Patriot

Patriot on the Flight Line

There’s something fun about Rhodey in the Iron Patriot colors, charging forward like he’s got a whole sky of firepower backing him up. In the comics he’s worn more than a few suits, but this red-white-and-blue armor always feels like a moment where duty, friendship, and sheer stubborn resilience all collide… even in chibi form 💥🇺🇸

This was a full-circle repaint for me, a Throwback Thursday return to the very first Marvel United mini I ever painted. I wanted to see how far I’ve come, so I treated this as a proper do-over: brighter jet blast, sharper highlights on the plates, and cleaner separation on those tricky stripes. Feels good when the progress actually shows.
