Rhino

Rhino has always been one of those unstoppable forces in the Spider-Man corner of the universe, all momentum and muscle, charging through problems instead of solving them. Something about that simplicity feels right for a figure like this… just raw power in motion.

This was my first time painting a mostly monochromatic mini, and it surprised me how fun it was to focus entirely on the values. No color crutches, just shadows, midtones, and highlights doing all the storytelling. Finding those little transitions across the armor plates and skin felt like a mini masterclass in lighting. I’ll definitely return to this approach again.
