The full human team

They line up clean, helmets forward, like they actually believe the playbook will survive first contact.

There’s something satisfying about seeing a full human squad together, especially in Blood Bowl where every position has a job and a personality. The thrower calling it, the blitzers already mid-chaos, linemen just bracing for impact… it feels less like individuals and more like a system that’s about to break in real time.

Painting these as a group pushed me to think a little differently about consistency, not just colors but contrast and readability across the whole team. I kept the blue armor punchy and unified, then used the red accents to create just enough variation to guide the eye across the lineup. Bases were the glue (literally and visually), quick grass work but consistent lines to tie them into one field instead of six separate minis. Still learning how to balance speed vs finish when working in batches, but this one felt like a step forward.

Also… group shots just hit different 📸
